There was a time,
When two souls matched.
They tied the knot,
And soon eggs hatched!
We gave you sleepless nights,
Broken crockery and stubborn attitude.
Raising us was a Herculean task,
But you both managed it well.
We had thousands of Maggi, cup noodles,
Gujiya, paapdi etc on innumerable Holi's,
Burst so many crackers on Diwali's,
Growing up together was so fun.
You also gave us Gigabytes of lectures
in the hope that something might sink in.
You know what, we also await that day.
You love us in your own way, hoping for the "best"!

Kalka, Shimla, Kasauli, Chail, Rohtang, Pune, Allahabad,
Delhi, Ajanta & Ellora, Nagpur, Badrinath,
Kedarnath, Rameshwaram, Hamirpur, Roorkee.
Together you both were,
In all the countless trips, postings
Of all the places i've seen,
I like our home the most!
Marriage is now like a good old wine
Poured in two silver cups.

“Cheers” to the life ahead!
